Premedical/Allied Health Club

 

Two student organizations,the Biology Club and the Premedical/Allied Health Club, actively provide extracurricular learning opportunities. The Premedical/Allied Health Club is a student organization that provides career and professional development opportunities (e.g., speakers from medical schools, PA programs, MCAT workshops, etc.) for those interested careers in medicine or allied health. Members of the Biology Club receive a membership in the Oklahoma Academy of Science which allows students to attend two field meetings (fall and spring camp-outs with field trips lead by biologists) and the technical meeting (consisting of contributed paper sessions) in the fall.
